Postdoctoral Fellowship
An NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship is available in the Vuong lab. A PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related field is required. The postdoctoral fellow will investigate the molecular mechanisms regulating immunoglobulin gene diversification using genetically engineered mutant mouse models and techniques in molecular biology, immunology, and biochemistry. Candidates with experience in mouse genetics, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and mouse embryonic development are strongly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and will be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Applicants for either position should send a cover letter, list of references, and CV to Bao Vuong
Doctoral Students
Research opportunities are available for students who are interested in completing their doctoral work in the Vuong lab; however, all doctoral students must matriculate into the Biology or Biochemistry PhD program at The Graduate Center, CUNY. Matriculated students should contact Bao Vuong to schedule a rotation project.
